Episode 1 and 2 - Highlights

At this point, the first two episodes of our web series, Camping Fantastic, have been released. The third episode is in post production right now. Here is an outline of what you will find in the first two episodes:

Episode 1: Buffalo Creek

Highlights:

-Camping at Buffalo Creek near Pine, Co

Plenty of campsites can be found off Forest Road 550; you must camp in a designated area but there is no charge for camping. The dirt road is well maintained and easy to access with any vehicle but 4WD is suggested when snow is on the ground. The Colorado Trail is nearby for hiking opportunities.

-Food and Drink

We learn how to make the Spicy Rosemary Margarita, Ribeye Steak Bites, and the best camping dessert: the Banana Boat.

Episode 2 Pingree Park

Highlights:

As we travel into Poudre Canyon we find our campsite off Pingree Park Rd. You can find many free campsites just off the road and more in the area here: https://www.fs.usda.gov/recarea/arp/recreation/hunting/recarea/?recid=77638&actid=34

-Food and Drink

At the campground we taste some local Colorado wines and then visit Ten Bears Winery (http://tenbearswinery.com/). We then kick things up with a delicious spicy seafood dish.
