The Pacific Southwest Railway Museum in Campo, CA has always been one of
my favorite destinations. I used to travel there as a little kid. The trip to the museum began my lifelong love of trains.
Last weekend I enjoyed a train ride at the museum and was treated to a special treat. My girlfriend gave me an early birthday surprise (my birthday is in July)
and I rode in the cab of the locomotive. This experience was amazing! I learned about train operations and proper train horn technique. And I even blew the train whistle twice at two crossings.
In addition to “Cab Rides”,the museum hosts events, and train excursions.
The museum is home to many train cars, locomotives, and other equipment
